Leather Care
Regular Cleaning
After each wear, remove dust and dirt using a soft cloth or a horsehair brush. Keeping your shoes clean helps preserve the leather's natural finish and prevents dirt from settling into the material.
Conditioning & Polishing
Apply a high-quality leather conditioner every few weeks to keep the leather soft and hydrated. Follow with a matching shoe cream or polish to restore colour, protect the surface, and maintain a refined shine.
Drying Your Shoes
If your shoes get wet, allow them to dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hair dryer, heater, or direct sunlight, as excessive heat can dry out and damage the leather.
Use Shoe Trees
Insert cedar shoe trees after every wear. They help absorb moisture, reduce creasing, eliminate odours, and maintain the original shape of your shoes.
Rotate Your Shoes
Avoid wearing the same pair every day. Giving your shoes at least 24 hours of rest between wears allows the leather to breathe and significantly extends their lifespan.
Proper Storage
Store your shoes in the provided dust bags or shoe box in a cool, dry place. Keep them away from excessive humidity and direct sunlight to preserve the leather and maintain their appearance.
Avoid Harsh Conditions
Protect your shoes from excessive water, oils, chemicals, and rough surfaces. If your shoes become heavily soiled, clean them gently with products specifically designed for genuine leather.
Built to Age Beautifully
With regular care and proper maintenance, your Corvanié shoes will develop a rich, natural patina over time, becoming even more comfortable and distinctive with every wear while maintaining their timeless elegance.
